I don't know what sources you and many of your readers are consulting, but Susan Glasser, whom I read and respect, is hardly alone in "calling out" Trump and criticizing his policies and plans. Even as I type this, there's a story on the front page of today's Washington Post headlined "Trump’s plans for disruption, retribution explained through Cabinet picks." Half of the Post columnists' commentaries today are criticisms of Trump. And this would be true of most of the big city dailies, from the NYT to the LA Times, not to mention The Atlantic, PBS NewsHour, CNN and even the nightly network newscasts. The latter don't editorialize, at least not formally, but they regularly acknowledge sources that say, for instance, that Trump's tariffs would raise not lower prices of consumer goods.
