I thought your original piece was interesting and made some good points, but this "two flawed candidates" business is ridiculous. Harris is flawed, as every Presidential candidate in my lifetime has been. Trump is a criminal and a creep who shouldn't be walking around a free man. I, too, have relatives and friends from childhood who voted for Trump. I would call them "good folks" because, in so many respects, they are. But that doesn't change the fact -- fact -- that they voted for the candidate overwhelmingly favored by the White Supremacists, neo-Nazis, homophobes, sexists and racists, who really are deplorable.
