I understand and regret that we (the US) and our European allies have been and continue to be hypocritical when it comes to which causes we adopt and which refugees we welcome. But that doesn't make our support of Ukraine any less right. Like Stalin, Putin is a vicious thug, a willful mass murderer. Our nation has done things I am ashamed of, but there is no equivalency here.
