There’s method in the madness, or vice versa

Recent rulings by the Supreme Court of the United States have left many citizens scratching their heads — or pulling their hair out — but a clear pattern is developing.

The court — or rather, its Republican super-majority — is in effect telling us that rather than have the Environmental Protection Agency disrupt profitable business practices, the proper response to climate change and increasingly destructive weather is more.

More people.

More guns.

More public prayer.

I am feeling more secure already.
